A poem to right what's wrong with my heart won't fill you up and I'm left with sad and fuming heat the sky can't settle down, dear one we're on a path of peace and knowing of stories unfolding in a silent weave of truth-- who are you, I heard you say and a laugh parted my lips and a tug reached your chest, but it went away. A poem can't right, I can't write the words to stay, please stay stay away stay close stay near stay dear. A poem can't right the pain, can't tame the blame. A poem can't fix the shattering the tattering left in our stormed wake. A poem can't save us, can't enslave us to the chaos alive in our dance. A poem is wrong, this hope does not belong and so I am just hear-- wholly open to your song.
