All is well and I’m well, so well can’t you see the depth it goes, a stone throws down and down surrender to flow like water fills the well with wisdom. What shape will we take and bake hot with the glory of our Father Sun, hold steady as the rock, protect me and do not relent as my loud waves crash and beat your heart against mine, we slow time in our conjoined breath.
In this poem, I find myself reflecting on the way surrendering to the flow of life can bring about wisdom and clarity. It speaks to the deep connection between the elements—earth, water, and the sun—and how they shape us. Like the waves that crash yet return to the sea, we are called to embrace life's rhythms, holding steady in the face of uncertainty. There is power in surrender, not as weakness, but as a path to understanding our own depth and resilience. Through the ebb and flow, we become more attuned to the present moment, finding strength in our interconnectedness and the beauty of shared breath.
