The forest sheds it’s leaves
and crunchy steps
do healing work
among the fray

days shortened,
we’ve more time
for love 
me as the wind

takes from the trees
and we witness
sembiance
and care

as the Mother
teaches cycles
with serene
participation.

Autumn is my favorite season. I think it’s something about transition. I think fall time is when we can most vividly see and experience transitions in nature. It’s an in-between state. It’s not yet the death of everything that winter is, or the full bloom of summer. It’s about movement and change.
