I invite you to stop. Stop. Stop doing, take a pause and be here now. I invite you-- look up from your lap, from the glass in your hand, from the limiting belief that this is it. I invite you to see the sun peaking between the tall trees. To hear the bird singing a tune so serene and cheerful. To feel the warmth in the air and the subtlety of the blowing wind. To taste the remembrance of a choice made before this now. To smell the sweet tones of lilac flower opening her bloom. I invite you to know life's a stage, so roll your show and be alive in this play.
This poem comes from the poetry book, Healing: Cum and Dance.
